Charles W. Kenrick, Attorney at Law
Chuck Kenrick is a principal partner in the law firm of Meyers Kenrick Giuffre & Evans which he helped found in 2004. Kenrick’s law practice focuses almost exclusively on medical malpractice cases where he’s helped dozens of individuals and families who have suffered great loss receive the justice and compensation they deserve. In addition to medical malpractice cases, he is also a specialist in personal injury, commercial litigation, general litigation and appellate practice law.
Kenrick brings a unique perspective to the firm, having spent years representing doctors and hospitals in malpractice cases before choosing to represent those victimized by medical negligence. With over 35 years of civil trial experience, Kenrick is skilled at presenting each case in the best light possible. His integrity, honesty and upfront manner make him an effective advocate for his clients both in and out of the court room. Kenrick finds it very rewarding to help someone right a wrong and make a significant difference in their life. “Helping somebody rebuild their life after a devastating accident is one of the most rewarding things I can think of,” Kenrick says.
Born in Chicago, Illinois in 1946, Chuck grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received his B.A. (cum laude) from Kenyon College, where he was affected by the idealism of the 1960s and the impact lawyers could have on issues of social justice, civil rights and constitutional rights. He received his J.D. from Duquesne University, where he was the articles editor for the Duquesne Law Review. He was admitted to the bar in 1972 by the Pennsylvania and U.S. District Court, Western District and Middle District of Pennsylvania; U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third, Sixth, Seventh and Tenth Circuits; and the United States Supreme Court.
Kenrick believes strongly in contributing to his profession and improving the administration of justice. For 25-plus years, he’s been an active member of the Allegheny County Bar Association (Board of Governors, 1984-1989; President 1991); the Pennsylvania Bar Association (House of Delegates 1980-2000); the American Bar Association; and the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. He’s written numerous articles and served as Editor-In-Chief for the Pittsburgh Legal Journal. Charles is listed in Who’s Who In the World, Who’s Who In America and Who’s Who In American Law.
Chuck has been married 36 years and has five children. When not working, he enjoys golf, tennis, travel and reading. A philosophy and religion major in college, Chuck has continued to nurture an appreciation for lifelong learning and has given talks at his local church on topics that interest him, including courage, integrity, civility and friendship.
